A four-year starter for the men’s soccer team, Nick Adams earned three-All-MIAC citations and two team MVP awards during the mid-1990s. As a sophomore, he set a school record that still stands today with 16 assists en route to All-Conference honors. Nick’s best season was his last as a Scot, as he led Macalester to a 14-5 record and an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament. That year, he registered 14 goals and 12 assists for 40 points and was named the MIAC Player of the Year. Nick concluded his career with a program-best 37 assists while ranking fifth all-time in points (91) and ninth in goals (27). A chemistry major at Macalester, Nick currently is the CEO and cofounder of Care Thread, Inc., a health care technology company in Rhode Island. He continues to play men’s league soccer.
