Hall of Fame
Leo Pearce was an outstanding diver for the Macalester swimming & diving team during the late 1980s and early 1990s. An All-MIAC honoree in each of his four years as a Scot, he also qualified for the NCAA Division III Diving Championships as a junior and senior. Leo, who held all of Macalester’s diving records for 30 years, still holds the school records for an 11-dive score on the 1- and 3-meter boards. During his time at Macalester, he was a member of the soccer and baseball teams while participating in club volleyball. After graduating and while working for General Electric, Leo was named the Twin Cities GE Volunteer of the Year for his work to support United Way and local food shelves. Currently he is a Project Director for Veolia Water Technologies.
