Holly Harris was a high-scoring forward and a record-setting sprinter for Macalester’s women’s soccer and track and field teams. In soccer, she was a key member of the Scots’ 1998 squad that won the NCAA Division III national championship, recording 16 goals and 37 points that season. A two-time All- Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and All-Region selection, Harris earned All-America accolades as a senior after scoring 17 goals. She currently ranks third all-time at Macalester in goals (49) and fourth in points (116). In track and field, Harris also achieved All-America status by finishing seventh in the 400 meters at the NCAA Division III Championships on her home track in 1998. A two-time MIAC champion in the 55 meter dash, she holds school records in the 100, 200 and 400 meters outdoors and the 400 indoors. After Macalester, Harris coached youth soccer teams in the Twin Cities following her playing career before moving to Sweden.
