Study abroad is an integral part of Macalester College's mission to enstill values of global citizenship, internationalism and multiculturalim among students. Over 60% of Macalester students take advantage of unique opportunities to explore and learn about different cultures domestically and internationally. Of those students, over 80% of study away participants are off-campus for at least one semester. While it may seem difficult for student-athletes to incoporate study abroad into their college experience, Macalester works to ensure student-athletes have the same opportunities to to study abroad as their peers while still having a complete athletic experience.
