A four-year member of the men’s track and field team, Kajerero Ssebbaale was a standout triple jumper for the Scots from 1999 to 2002. He dominated the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, winning the conference triple jump title in all eight MIAC Championships in which he competed. A four-time national qualifier, Ssebbaale earned All-America honors at three NCAA Division III Championships, placing eighth outdoors in 1999 and fifth both indoors and outdoors in 2000. His leap of 48 feet, 1.5 inches still stands as Macalester’s indoor school record. Currently Ssebbaale serves as a business operations manager for General Mills Inc.
