Erik Jackson starred for the men’s basketball team, earning All-MIAC honors in both 2004 and 2005. A sharpshooting guard, Jackson made 239 three-pointers in his standout career. As a junior, he played a key role in the Scots’ 18-9 season that resulted in a second-place finish in the MIAC standings and an appearance in the championship game of the MIAC playoffs. The next year, Jackson led the conference in three-pointers while averaging a team-best 17.8 points per game to receive All-Region accolades. He currently ranks sixth all-time at Macalester with 1,345 career points. Jackson, an economics major, is a financial advisor at Waddell & Reed.
