Edwards is making his third appearance on the Academic All-District team. During the cross country season, Edwards took 15th at the MIAC Championships last fall to earn All-MIAC honors for the second straight year. He also received the MIAC Elite 22 Award for having the highest GPA among the top 15 finishers at the MIAC Cross Country Championships. On the track, Edwards posted a pair of All-MIAC performances, finishing second in the 5000 meters indoors and taking third in the 10,000 meters outdoors. An economics major, he also has made the Academic All-MIAC teams for track & field and cross country since his sophomore year.
Schonebaum contributed to three point-scoring relays at the MIAC Indoor Championships, helping the Scots place fourth in the distance medley relay, sixth in the 4x200-meter relay, and eighth in the 4x400-meter relay. Outdoors, he ran personal bests in the 200 and 400 meters this spring, taking sixth in the 400 while helping the 4x800-meter relay team finish fifth at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. An Academic All-MIAC honoree in 2025, Schonobaum majored in both economics and physics at Macalester.
Stefanowicz broke the school record in the 60-meter hurdles this winter and qualified for the finals of the 55-meter hurdles at the MIAC Indoor Championships. He also was on the Scots' 4x200 squad that took sixth indoors. Outdoors, he ran his personal best in the 110-meter hurdles this spring to rank seventh on Macalester's all-time performance list. Stefanowicz, who has made the Academic All-MIAC team twice, majored in economics and statistics.
Hoisington had his best season on the track this spring, running personal bests in four events. At the MIAC Indoor Championships, he earned All-MIAC honors with a third-place finish in the 3000 meters. Hoisington also ran the fourth-best time in the indoor mile in the program's history. Outdoors, he placed seventh in the 1500 meters and was eighth in the 5000 meters at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. A two-time Academic All-MIAC honoree, Hoisington is a chemistry major.
Ihrke was the Scots' top runner during the cross country season, finishing eighth at the MIAC Championships and 43rd at the NCAA North Region meet. He continued to excel into the indoor season, earning a trip to the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 800 meters and finishing ninth at nationals to receive All-America second team accolades. This winter Ihrke set school records in the 800, 1000 meters and mile. Injuries limited him to five races outdoors, including a PR in the 1500. A psychology major, Ihrke made the Academic All-MIAC team for cross country in the fall and was named an All-Academic Athlete by the USTFCCCA.
Mensah had a breakout sophomore campaign, improving over two feet in the triple jump and 3.5 inches in the high jump over his best marks in 2025. He took second at the MIAC Indoor Championships in the triple jump, then earned all-MIAC status in both the triple jump and high jump by taking third and second, respectively at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. Mensah is majoring in computer science.
