La CROSSE, Wis. - Sophomore Ataa Mensah (Roseville, Minn./Roseville) competed at the UW-LaCrosse Final Qualifier on Thursday and set a personal best in the triple jump.
Mensah, whose previous best jump of 14.24 meters (46-8.75) earned home All-MIAC honors with a third-place finish at the MIAC Championships last week, jumped 14.27 (46-10) on Thursday. The mark, which was good for fourth place, ranks fourth on Macalester's all-time performance list.
Junior Quinn Hoisington (Seattle, Wash./Lincoln) ran the 1500 meters and finished 18th.
The meet served as the final competition of the 2026 season.
