ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Macalester College women's track and field team wrapped up the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships today in Arden Hills. The Scots finished eighth with 33 points.
Senior
Journey Amundson (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) became a MIAC Champion for the second time this weekend, taking home the crown in the triple jump. She leapt 11.92m (39' 1.25").
Sophomore
Sylvia Coyle (Wyoming, Ohio/Wyoming) set a personal record in the 5000m with a time of 19:29.68. Amundson, junior
Sarah Beth Hobby (South Pittsburg, Tenn./St. Andrew's-Sewanee School), first year
Hadley Wilkins (St. Louis, Mo./Whitfield School), and senior
Madeline Rodriguez (Petaluma, Calif./Marin Academy) finished the 4x400m relay in a time of 4:14.30.
Macalester's next meet is scheduled for Wednesday May 17. The Scots will compete at the UW-La Crosse Qualifier in La Crosse, Wis.
