La CROSSE, Wis. - The Macalester College women's track & field team sent a small group of athletes to the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier at n Thursday.
Junior Tessa Myatt (Chicago, Ill./Northside College Prep) finished sixth in the shot put with a toss of 13.11 meters (43-0.5). Last weekend she broke the school record with a mark of 13.36 meters (43-10) to finish second at the MIAC Championships.
Sophomore Kate Fox (Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt) competed in the 1500 meters and placed sixth with a time of 4:42.05.
The meet served as the final competition of the 2026 season.
