ST. PAUL, Minn. – Macalester College placed 93 student-athletes on the Fall 2021 Academic All-Conference team, the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced today. A record total of 777 student-athletes from all 13 member institutions were honored, surpassing the previous record of 721, set last year.
To earn Academic All-Conference honors, MIAC student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a minimum cumulative (career) grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while having completed one full-time academic year at their current institution prior to becoming eligible for the award. Macalester's football team is included in this year's Academic All-MIAC honors after rejoining the conference this fall.
