Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because it gives me the best chance to challenge and enjoy myself both on the soccer field and in the classroom. With an economics program encouraging a global perspective, great internship/study abroad opportunities, diverse student body, and urban campus setting, I believe that Mac will give me the best possible all-round college experience.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experiences have made me a more process-oriented, rather than outcome-oriented person. There's no guarantee whatever I'm working on will succeed, but the committing to the process is the enjoyable part.
