Competed in three races for the Scots... Ran the 8,000 meters in 27:50.0 at the Running of the Cows on Sept. 25... Academic All-MIAC honors.

Athletic Letters… Earned a team award for dedication and leadership as a senior at Cheyenne Mountain High School… Distinguished honor roll.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I was drawn in by the location of Mac, being in the middle of the Twin Cities and close to the Mississippi River, the strong academics, and the sense of community that a campus of many different backgrounds brings.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Attending Macalester as a cross country/track and field athlete has allowed me to participate in an inclusive and welcoming athletic community where I can do the sport I love with people from a variety of backgrounds. Furthermore, learning in an environment where I have the opportunity to not only be educated academically, but also can take in new perspectives regarding every aspect of life has led to tremendous growth for me and will continue to shape me as my journey at Macalester continues.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Life as a student-athlete at Macalester has taught me how to balance various commitments and excel at time management, teamwork/collaboration, and forming relationships.
