Started in all 17 games this season… Logged 1354 minutes… Scored three goals and tallied three assists this season… Scored the game winner in the 3-0 victory against Carleton on Oct 14… Named MIAC Offensive Player of the Week the week of Oct 17… Received All-MIAC honors… Recognized as Academic All-District… Academic All-MIAC.

2021
Played in all 19 games this season with 18 starts in central midfield... Tallied three goals and two assists for the season, including the game winning goal and an assist against Concordia on Sept. 15... Played 1256 minutes... Earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention... Academic All-MIAC honors.

2020
Academic all-conference honors.

2019
Appeared in eight games for Macalester… Scored his first collegiate goal in a (3-0) win over St. Olaf Sept. 21… Totaled 165 minutes on the season.

Before Mac
Two-time All-District and All-Conference selection… Also awarded an All-State Honorable Mention nod… Earned the AP Scholar Award, as well as the Principal’s Academic Award… Part of the President’s Education Awards Program.
 
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because of its academic reputation, the range of opportunities available to its students, and to fulfill my goal of being part of a nationally competitive soccer program. After meeting with Coach Olson and Coach Roy, I liked the intense, yet supportive, environment that the coaching staff creates for the team. I also like that the campus is located in the Twin Cities, which provides numerous opportunities for Macalester students.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
College athletics has taught me discipline, time management skills, and why work ethic is so important. In the little work experience I have, I’ve found these skills to be vital in being a successful employee.


What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have formed invaluable relationships and determined my academic interests.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My definition of accountability has evolved and I now feel more responsible for my actions than I did when I came in.
