Captain of the men’s Cross Country team… Captain of the Nordic Ski Club.
2022
Ran in five races... Clocked a time of 26:41.0 at the MIAC Preview on Sept. 9 for a 20th-place finish... Academic All-MIAC honors.
2021
Competed in six races for the Scots... Ran a PR of 26:40.5 in the 8,000 meters at the Jim Drews Invitational on Oct. 15... Academic All-MIAC honors.
2020
Earned Academic all-conference honors.
2019
Participated in four races for the Scots as a rookie.
Before Mac
Participated in the State Tournament… Member of the Dean’s List… Part of National Honors Society… Recognized as an AP Scholar.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I loved the campus, the area, and the people. I thought the professors were great and I felt at home.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I have gained a greater confidence in myself, and I have grown stronger, both physically and in my character.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete helped me build a sense of community in my life and has pushed me to be a more driven person in my other pursuits.
