PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The Macalester College men's track & field team sent five Scots to compete in the 5000 meters at the UW-Platteville Invitational Friday night. The event included 274 runners over eight heats.

Senior Reece McKee (Charlottesville, Va./Charlottesville) led the way for Macalester, covering the 12.5 laps in 14:51.87. Senior Tor Olsson (Northampton, Mass./Northampton) posted a time of 14:55.46, which ranks seventh on Macalester's all-time performance list. Senior Nick Ihrke (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) also ran a top-10 time, finishing in 15:03.28 to rank ninth at Macalester. Senior Ben Crotteau (Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Southeast) and sophomore Daniel Wiltse (Missoula, Mont./Hellgate) also competed, with Wiltse running a personal-best time.

The remainder of the men's track & field team competes at the Bethel Invitational on Saturday, April 12.
