Women’s Track and Field: Scots Clock Personal Records at Bethel Invitational

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Macalester College women's track and field team visited Arden Hills today for the Bethel University Invitational today, where multiple Scot runners set personal bests and broke into the national Division III ranks.

First year Ariella Rogahn-Press (Albuquerque, N.M./Bosque School) clocked two nationally ranked times. She finished third in the 200 meters with a personal record 25.00 that ranks 31st in the country this season and places her second all-time in program history. She finished sixth in the 100m with a 12.37 that ranks 60th in the country this season and fifth in program history.

Senior Ella Krumm (Helena, Mont./Capital) and sophomore Norah Juzenas (Silver Spring, Md./Sandy Spring Friends School) each logged personal bests in the 1500 meters today, Krumm at 5:10.77 and Juzenas at 5:21.23.

In the field, sophomore Jessica Lin (Bedford, Mass./Bedford) placed sixth in the hammer throw with a personal best 48.22 meter launch to surpass her own school record of 47.97 meters. That mark ranks 45th in D-III this season. In the long jump, sophomore Harmony-Keli Tomety (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook East) earned ninth for a 5.23 meter leap that goes in the books as a personal record, the D-III number 89 this season and ties Sarah Beth Hobby '24  for sixth place in program history. 

The track and field Scots will return to action on April 18 and 19 in Atlanta, Ga. for the Georgia Tech Invitational.
