LA CROSSE, Wis. -  Macalester College senior J.J. Arimi (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) and sophomore Will Murphy (Longmont, Colo./Longmont) of the men's track and field team competed at the NCAA Final Qualifier, host by UW-La Crosse on Wednesday. Neither improved their season bests, ending the 2021 season.

Both Arimi and Murphy competed in the triple jump, with Arimi taking eighth with a leap of 13.34 meters (43-9.25). Murphy was right behind his teammate with a mark of 13.29 (43-7.25) to finish ninth. Arimi also participated in the long jump and placed seventh with a leap of 6.50 (21-4).
