ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Macalester College men's track & field team competed at Hamline's Meet of the Unsaintly Friday afternoon.
The field events took center stage Friday. Sophomore
Ataa Mensah (Roseville, Minn./Roseville) finished second in the high jump, clearing 1.88 meters (6-2). Sophomore
Artur Porto (North Kingstown, R.I./North Kingstown) took sixth in the shot put with a toss of 14.36 meters (47-15), then threw the discus 36.96 meters (121-3) to take 12th. Senior
Austin Mills (Eugene, Ore./Winston Churchill) was 10th in the hammer throw with a toss of 45.58 meters (149-6).
The Scots will participate in the Ole Open at St. Olaf on Saturday, May 2.
