Macalester vs. Hamline box score

Macalester's bid to make the MIAC post-season playoffs took a hit Saturday when Hamline won a 5-4 battle at Lifetime Fitness Club in Lakeville.  The Scots, who were going for their third straight MIAC win, drop to 2-4 in the conference and 8-8 overall.

The Scots picked up singles victories from Max Edwards (Jr., Rochester, Minn. / Mayo) at No. 4 and Max Soghikian (So., Piedmont, Calif.) at No. 6.  Edwards is 11-4 on the season and Soghikian is 14-5.

Chris Fowler (Sr., Toronto, Ont. / Royal St. George's) and Stephen Tyndel (Jr., Toronto, Ont. / City Academy) played to an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles, while Edwards and Soghikian won 6-1 at No. 3 to improve to 10-4 as a tandem.
