Quinn Hoisington (Seattle, Wash./Lincoln) and sophomore
Ataa Mensah (Roseville, Minn./Roseville) went to the Wartburg Final Qualifier in Waverly, Iowa, and senior
Austin Mills (Eugene, Ore./Winston Churchill) competed at the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier in La Crosse, Wis.
Hoisington raced against some of the top runners in Division III in the mile and finished 16th with a personal-best time of 4:17.44. The performance ranks fourth all-time at Macalester. Hoisington earned All-MIAC honors with a third-place finish in the 3000 meters at last week's MIAC Indoor Championships.
Mensah won the triple jump with a leap of 13.78 meters (45-2.5). Last week Mensah took second in the triple jump at the conference meet to achieve All-MIAC status.
Mills, who finished second in the weight throw at the MIAC Championships to earn All-MIAC honors, placed 18th in the weight throw at La Crosse with a mark of 16.23 meters (53-3).
The NCAA will announce the qualifiers for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Monday, March 9.
