ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men's cross country team is headed to the MIAC Championships, which will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 at St. Olaf. The Scots, who were ranked in the top 10 of the North Region earlier this season, were fifth at the conference championships last year.
Senior
Reece McKee (Charlottesville, Va./Charlottesville) has been Macalester's top finisher in three out of five meets this fall, including a 10th-place finish at the Griak Invitational Sept. 20. McKee took 14th at lasat year's MIAC Championships to earn All-MIAC honors. Junior
Tyler Edwards (Beaverton, Ore./Oregon Episcopal) led the Scots at St. Olaf's Ole Opener on Aug. 30, where he finished first, and at Carleton's Running of the Cows on Oct. 5. Edwards received All-MIAC honorable mention with a 24th-place finish at last year's conference meet.

John Ihrke (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) was the other Scot to cross the finish line in the Macalester top five in all five events. Seniors

Nick Ihrke (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North), juniors
Jordan Galloway (Portland, Ore./Grant) and
Jay Lebakken (Minneapolis, Minn./Edina) and sophomores
Quinn Hoisington (Seattle, Wash./Lincoln) and
Daniel Wiltse (Missoula, Mont./Hellgate) also have placed in the Scots' top five this season.
The women's race starts things off at 11:00 a.m., followed by the men's race at 12:00 p.m. in Northfield, Minn. Links to live results and other information can be found on the
