Women’s Track & Field: Hobby Sets PR in the Javelin Throw, Ranks in the Top 50 in Division III

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Macalester College women's track and field team sent junior Sarah Beth Hobby (South Pittsburg, Tenn./St. Andrew's-Sewanee School) to the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier to compete in the javelin throw.

Hobby finished fourth in the javelin throw with a personal best mark of 39.04m (128' 1"). This mark currently ranks 41^st across Division III. It also ranks second-best all-time in program history.
