ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men's track and field team took a short trip to St. Thomas to compete at the Tomcat Invitational today.
Sophomore
Arlo Heitler (Hastings, N.Y./Hastings) finished second in the 400m dash with a time of 48.78. His time currently ranks 21
st in Division III. Fellow sophomore
Reece McKee (Charlottesville, VA./Charlottesville) set a personal record in the 3000m steeplechase today, with a time of 9:43.10 to finish seventh. Sophomore
Tor Olsson (Northampton, Mass./Northampton) led the Scots in the 1500m finishing 10
th. Olsson set a personal record of 3:59.09, which ranks seventh in Macalester history. Senior
Mason Bosley (Amery, Wis./Amery) took seventh in the 400m hurdles, with a personal record time of 59.51.
In the field, sophomore
Riley Hodin (Buffalo, N.Y./Amherst Central) finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.10m (42' 11.75"). Sophomore
Max Menache (Beverly Hills, Calif./Beverly Hills) finished seventh in the hammer throw with a mark of 44.99m (147' 7").
Macalester's next meet is scheduled for Saturday April 15. The Scots will compete at CSB/SJU Multi in Collegeville, Minn.
