Women’s Track & Field: Coyle and Franke Finish in the Top 10 of the 5000m

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's track and field team is hosting the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational this weekend, and opened up competition with the 5000m tonight.

Both sophomore Sylvia Coyle (Wyoming, Ohio/Wyoming) and senior Erin Franke (Chicago, Ill./Northside College Prep) ran personal bests, and finished in the top 10. Coyle finished sixth with a time of 19:32.79. Franke finished eighth with a time of 19:37.63.

The rest of the Scots will compete on Saturday at Macalester Stadium for the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational.
