MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Sophomore
Arlo Heitler (Hastings, N.Y./Hastings) represented the Macalester College men's track and field team today at the Minnesota Icebreaker Invite, hosted by the University of Minnesota.
Heitler finished third in the 400-meter dash this afternoon. He ran a time of 50.74, less than one second off of first. First went to Joseph Manser of UNAT-Minnesota, with a time of 49.81. Heitler, who began last season with a time of 51.42 in the 400m, is in strong form to start off this season.
The Scots' next competition will be Saturday January 21, when they will host the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic.
