STILLWATER, Minn. – The Macalester College women's golf team participated in the St. Kate's Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at Oak Glen Golf Course. The Scots placed 10th out of 14 teams in the team standings.
Senior
Tenley Smith (Williamstown, Mass./Mount Greylock Regional) had the team's low round on the weekend with a 79 on Saturday, finishing in a tie for 20th with a two-round score of 163. Senior
Kiwa Anisman (Yountville, Calif./Vintage) was close behind in 26th with a 165.
Emma Iverson (Northfield, Minn./Northfield) made it three seniors at the top of the Scots' scorecard, as Iverson tied for 50th. Sophomore
Phebe Chen (South Barrington, Ill./Barrington) and first year
Lauren Petro (Canton, Ohio/GlenOak) tied for 57th to wrap up the top five for Macalester.
The Scots conclude their fall schedule next weekend at the MIAC Championships, which will take place Oct. 2-4 at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids, Minn.
