ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's soccer team will start the 2019 season with a pair of road games against Iowa teams, as the Scots announced their schedule today.
Macalester, coached by
Krystle Seidel, plays at Wartburg on Aug. 30 before taking on Loras in Dubuque, Iowa on Aug. 31. The Iowa games are the first two of four games on the road, including a conference game at Hamline on Sept. 9 in the first MIAC contest of the season. The first match at Macalester Stadium is on Sept. 11 against UW-River Falls, with the first MIAC home game taking place on Oct. 2 against Bethel. The Scots play six home games in October, highlighted by a meeting with defending MIAC champion St. Thomas on Oct. 26.
The final regular-season home game is Oct. 30 versus Saint Mary's, followed by the season finale at Gustavus on Nov. 2. The MIAC Playoffs begin on Nov. 5, with the champion crowned on Nov. 9.
