Men's Tennis: Scots Fall To Asbury College

Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The Macalester men's tennis team lost to Asbury University today 8-1. It was just their second defeat of the year.

First year Karsten Knutsen (Minneapolis, Minn./Riverfield Country Day) had the only win for the Scots on the day. Knutsen won in a three-set thriller and beat his opponent 3-6, 6-4, 10-2.

In doubles, first year Jeffrey Jorgensen (Menlo Park, Calif./Menlo-Atherton) and first year Alexander Poland (Madison, Wis./Madison West) lost a close battle 8(4)-7.

Macalester returns to play Thursday, Mar. 21, in Hilton Head, S.C. against Allegheny College.
