ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men's tennis team lost a MIAC dual to the University of St. Thomas, 8-1 Saturday afternoon at Hayden Tennis Courts. The Scots drop to 6-8 overall and 2-4 in league play, while the Tommies are now 11-1, 6-0 MIAC.

Ben Wilson (Oakland, Calif./College Preparatory School) picked up Macalester's lone point with a three-set win at No. 6 singles. Junior
Josh Doyle (Cologne, Germany/Friedrich Wilhelm Gymnasium) lost a close match to St. Thomas' Luke Elifson at No. 1 singles in three sets.
The Scots continue MIAC play with a dual against St. Olaf on Thursday, Apr. 27. The home contest begins at 5:00 p.m. at Hayden Tennis Courts.
