ST. PETER, Minn. --Â Ranked 16th nationally and fifth in the Central Region, Gustavus Adolphus handed Macalester an 8-1 loss at the Brown Tennis Complex.

Aidan Tirpack had to go to a super tiebreaker to defeat Mitch Elofson, 0-6, 7-5, 12-10.
Perry Campbell also went to a super tiebreak at six singles before falling to Nick Reiners, 6-3, 1-6, 10-2.
Macalester is in action again Sunday when it hosts Concordia in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match, which has been changed from 2 p.m. at the Hayden Courts on the Macalester Campus to 5:30 p.m. at Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville, Minn., due to forecasted storms late in the day.
