Macalester vs. Carleton box score

Carleton maintained its second-place position in the MIAC standings by defeating Macalester 6-3 in Northfield.

Macalester received its wins at first singles, sixth singles and third doubles.

Michael Coleman (Sr., Westlake Village, Calif. / Agoura) won 7-6, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and Max Soghikian (Fy., Piedmont, Calif.) won 7-5, 6-1 at No. 6. Coleman is now 8-4 on the season, including 3-2 in conference play. Soghikian also teamed with Chris Fowler (Jr., Toronto, Ont. / Royal St. George's) to win 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.

The Scots are back in action Thursday (April 21) with an MIAC match at Bethel.
