Macalester vs. St. Olaf box score

Macalester played St. Olaf in the season's first MIAC match and came away with a 7-2 defeat to the Oles at Lakeville's Lifetime Fitness Center. The Scots played to wins at first doubles and sixth singles.

Paul Mairet (Sr., Rochester, Minn. / Century) and Michael Coleman (Sr., Westlake Village, Calif. / Agoura) took an 8-5 decision at No. 1 doubles. Justin Margolies (Sr., Madison, Wis. / West) won a hard-fought 6-4, 4-6, (10-6) victory at No. 6 singles.

The Scots return to the court Saturday (March 5) with an MIAC match against Hamline at the Baseline Tennis Center at the University of Minnesota.
