Macalester vs. St. Thomas box score

St. Thomas avenged an MIAC playoff defeat to the Scots last spring, beating Macalester 9-0 at Lifetime Fitness Club in Lakeville.

The match was closer than the final score indicates. Macalester's first and second doubles teams lost 8-6, and in four of the six singles matches, the Tommies pulled out 6-4 first set victories before coasting in the second set.

Macalester is now 6-5 overall and 1-3 on the MIAC season. The Scots host St. Mary's next Saturday (April 9) at Hayden Tennis Courts at 3 p.m.
