Macalester went 3-2 over Spring Break March 13-16 at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, beating Texas Lutheran (9-0), St. Mary's (Md.) 8-1 and Sevenson (Md.) (9-0), while falling to North Georgia (1-8) and Manhattanville (N.Y.) 4-5. The Scots are now 5-4 on the spring campaign.

The team's best singles record for the week was registered by Paul Mairet (Sr., Rochester, Minn. / Century), who went 4-1. Chris Fowler (Jr., Toronto, Ontario / Royal St. George's) and Kai Peterson (So., St. Paul, Minn. / Central) were both 3-1.

Macalester went 11-4 in doubles matches. Mairet and Michael Coleman (Sr., Westlake Village, Calif. / Agoura) were 4-1 at No. 1 doubles, while Max Edwards (So., Rochester, Minn. / Century) and Lewis Wilcox (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn. / Southwest) were 4-1 at No. 2 doubles.

The Scots are back in action March 26 when they travel to Sartell for an MIAC match with St. John's.
