Macalester vs. Martin Luther box score

One week after starting the season with a sweep over Northwestern, the Scots captured another 9-0 triumph Saturday afternoon, topping Martin Luther 9-0 at the Leonard Center.

Macalester won 72 of the 76 total games played in singles competition. Gaining wins for the Scots in singles play were Michael Coleman (Sr., Westlake Village, Calif. / Agoura) at No. 1, Chris Fowler (Jr., Toronto, Ont. / Royal St. George's) at No. 2, Justin Margolies (Jr., Madison, Wis. / West) at No. 3, Kai Peterson (So., St. Paul, Minn. / Central) at No. 5, Ali Bandeali (Jr., Karachi, Pakistan / Karachi Grammar School) at No. 6, and Max Hoffman (Fy., Newton, Mass. / Milton Academy) at No. 6.

Doubles winners for the Scots were Max Edwards (So., Rochester, Minn. / Mayo) and Lewis Wilcox (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn. / Southwest) at No. 1, Peterson and Max Soghikian (Fy., Piedmont, Calif.) at No. 2, and Petar Petrovic (Fy., Veliko Gradiste, Serbia / UWC of the Adriatic) and Paul Rebman (Fy., Wheaton, Ill. / North) at No. 3.

The Scots are off until opening MIAC play March 4 against St. Olaf at Lakeville's Lifetime Fitness Center.
