Macalester vs. Concordia box score

Macalester made the trip to Moorhead and returned with a 7-2 defeat to Concordia as the Cobbers gained their first conference win of the season. The Scots drop to 6-8 on the season and 2-4 in the MIAC, while Concordia goes up to 7-10 overall, 1-6 in the MIAC.

Michael Coleman (Fy., Westlake Village, Calif. / Agoura) was in on both Mac victories on the day. Coleman won a 6-4, 6-2 match at No. 5 singles and joined with Paul Mairet (Fy., Rochester, Minn. / Century) to gain an 8-4 decision at No. 3 doubles.

Concordia's wins at each of the top four singles positions came in three-set matches.

The Scots play host to Carleton on Monday (April 14) at 7 p.m. and host Bethel Tuesday (April 15) at 5 p.m. They close out the season Sunday (April 20) at home against St. John's at 12 noon.
