ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men's tennis team was named an All-Academic Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the organization announced today. Additionally, three members of the team earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.

To qualify as an ITA All-Academic team, the program must register at least a 3.2 grade-point average for the 2025-26 academic school year. Student-athletes must have at least a 3.5 GPA this past year to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete. This year, 147 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction, while 1,151 Division III men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Macalester's ITA Scholar Athletes are rising senior Kangyu Li (Shanghai, China/Shanghai Southwest Weiyu) and rising sophomores Charles Flaman (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) and Ezra Mahoney (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North).
