ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's cross country team stayed at No. 7 in this week's North Region rankings by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, which were released today.
Most of the teams in the North Region did not compete this past week, leaving the top seven spots the same as the previous rankings. UW-La Crosse is ranked first in the North Region ahead of UW-Eau Claire, Carleton, St. Olaf and UW-Stevens Point. UW-Oshkosh is sixth, followed by Macalester in seventh. Ripon and St. Scholastica move up to eighth and ninth, respectively, with UW-River Falls dropping to 10th.
Next up for Macalester is the Augustana College Interregional invitational on Oct. 17 in Rock Island, Ill.
