HAM LAKE, Minn. – The Macalester College men's golf team 2025 fall campaign at the Augsburg Fall Invite, held Saturday and Sunday at Majestic Oaks. The Scots finished sixth out of nine teams with a two-round score of 615.
Sophomore
Aaron Cheng (Mountain View, Calif./Taipei American School) shot a 71 on Sunday to tie for fifth in the individual standings. His two-round score of 146 ranks second all-time at Macalester. Senior
Harry Cheng (Taipei, Taiwan/Heping Municipal) tied for 18th with a 154, while sophomore
Liam Sarmiento (Sioux Falls, S.D./O'Gorman) tied for 24th with a score of 157. Senior
Ben d'Entremont (Cranston, R.I./Moses Brown School) was one stroke behind Sarmiento in 30th.
Macalester competes next weekend at the Minnesota Golf Classic, hosted by Bethel Sept. 6-7 at Pioneer Creek Golf Course in Maple Plain, Minn.
