Ariella Rogahn-Press (Albuquerque, N.M./Bosque School) was named the MIAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 2, the league announced today. This is the second MIAC weekly honor this season for Rogahn-Press, who was named the Track Athlete of the Week on Dec. 10.
On Saturday, Rogahn-Press won the 400 meters at Minnesota State-Mankato's Mark Shuck Open with a time of 56.67, topping her own school record of 57.34 set on Dec. 6 at the University of Minnesota's M City Classic. The time currently ranks fifth in Division III. Also at the Mark Shuck Open, she ran a 7.94 in the 60 meters, which ranks second all-time at Macalester.
Rogahn-Press has broken a school record in each of her three meets this season, including a new record in the 200 meters of 25.59 at the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic on Jan. 25 at Macalester. That time is 25th on the NCAA Division III performance list for 2025.
Macalester's next meet is on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Carleton's Meet of the Hearts.
