LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Macalester men's track and field team sent four athletes to compete at the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier this today.
Sophomore
Arlo Heitler (Hastings, N.Y./Hastings) won the 400m dash with a time of 47.93, just shy of his personal best 47.91, that he set last weekend at the MIAC Championships meet. Fellow sophomore
Reece McKee (Charlottesville, VA./Charlottesville) ran a personal best time of 9:18.91 to finish 10
th. His time ranks in the top 50 in Division III and is the third best time in program history. In the 1500m, sophomores
Tor Olsson (Northampton, Mass./Northampton) and
Ben Crotteau (Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Southeast) finished 10
th and 14
th respectively. Olsson's time was 3:57.31 and Crotteau's time of 3:59.91 is a personal best and ranks eighth all-time in program history.
