ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men's track and field team are ready to compete at the MIAC Championships this weekend. The Scots begin on Friday and compete through Saturday.
Macalester has had a strong season, posting multiple top-10 performances in the MIAC. Sophomore
Arlo Heitler (Hastings, N.Y./Hastings) is seeded seventh in the 200m dash, with a time of 22.19. Heitler also holds the fourth best 400m dash time in the conference (48.28). Fellow sophomore
Tor Olsson (Northampton, Mass./Northampton) is seeded sixth in the 1500m with a time of 3:59.09. In the 400m hurdles, sophomore
Jeff Wang (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) seeded fifth with a time of 55.77. Sophomore
Reece McKee (Charlottesville, VA./Charlottesville) seeded fourth in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 9:37.61.
In the field, junior
Caleb Williams (Wild Rose, Wis./Wild Rose) ranks seventh in the long jump with a mark of 6.46m (21' 2.5") and third in the triple jump with a mark of 13.58m (44' 6.75"). Sophomore
Riley Hodin (Buffalo, N.Y./Amherst Central) ranks fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.56m (44' 6"). Sophomore
Max Menache (Beverly Hills, Calif./Beverly Hills) holds the fourth best mark in the discus throw (44.35m (145' 6")), while senior
Victor Wright (Cape Coral, Fla./Mariner) ranks eighth with a mark of 42.25m (138' 7"). Menache holds a top-10 performance in the hammer throw, ranking fifth with a mark of 46.97m (154' 1"). Sophomore
Aiden Yang (Eugene, Ore./South Eugene) ranks seventh in the javelin throw with a mark of 48.19m (158' 1").
