ST. PAUL, Minn. – On the first day of the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational, multiple Scots ran the 5000m at Macalester Stadium.
Sophomore
Reece McKee (Charlottesville, VA./Charlottesville) won the event with a personal best time of 15:03.06. This is the fifth best mark in Macalester history. Fellow sophomores
Ben Crotteau (Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Southeast) and
Nick Ihrke (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) finished fourth (15:21.60) and seventh (15:32.62) respectively. First year
Tyler Edwards (Beaverton, Ore./Oregon Episcopal) took ninth with a personal best of 15:33.61.
Macalester continues to host the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational at Macalester Stadium on Saturday April 29, when the rest of the Scots will compete.
