St. Paul, Minn. – The Macalester College women's track and field team competed at the Meet of the Unsaintly today hosted by Hamline.
In the long jump, senior
Mikayla Ennevor (Wayzata, Minn./Breck School) won by registering a mark of 5.08 meters (16' 8"). This jump ties for the eighth mark in Macalester history. Junior
Sara Gregor (Bloomington, Minn./The Blake School) took fourth in the long jump. Fellow junior
Journey Amundson (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) won the triple jump with a mark of 10.81 meters (35' 5.75").
On the track, senior
Lena Stern (Seattle, Wash./Garfield) came in second in the 1500-meter run, in a time of 4:54.42, which is a personal-best for Stern. Sophomore
Maggie Froh (Milwaukee, Wis./Rufus King International School) came in behind Stern, for a fourth-place finish in the 1500-meter run. Senior
Danielle Freshwaters (Tacoma, Wash./Stadium) registered a third-place finish in the 5000-meter run.
Macalester's next meet will be the MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday May 13 and Saturday May 14, hosted by Saint Mary's University.
