La Crosse, Wis. – The Macalester College women's track and field team traveled to La Crosse, Wis. to compete in the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier today.
Junior
Journey Amundson (Iron River, Wis./Northwestern) jumped a personal record of 11.57 meters (37' 11.5") in the triple jump for a seventh-place finish. This is the second-best jump in Macalester history. Senior
Mikayla Ennevor (Wayzata, Minn./Breck School) tied her personal record of 5.43 meters (17' 9.75") in the long jump, placing eighth.
Sophomore
Sarah Beth Hobby (South Pittsburg, Tenn./St. Andrew's-Sewanee School) placed in the top-10 in the javelin throw finishing ninth and senior
Addie Brooke-Pike (Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt) took fifth in the 400-meter hurdles.
The top 20 performances across Division III that declare in each event will compete at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, held May 26-28 in Geneva, Ohio at the Spire Institution.
