Women's Tennis: Macalester Defeated By Hamline University

Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The Macalester women's tennis lost to Hamline University 5-4 today.

No. 3 senior Della Brown (Chicago, Ill./Univ. Of Chicago Laboratory School) won in three sets 4-6,7-6,10-2. Junior Claire Buehler (Awty International School) then won 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 4 spot. Finally in singles, sophomore Emma Baker ( Bentonville, Ark./Bentonville) beat her opponent 6-2, 6-3.

Buehler and junior Camilla Bendetti (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr School) combined to win their doubles match 8-1.

Macalester returns to conference play Friday, Apr. 12, against Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.
