SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women's tennis team lost to the undefeated University of St. Thomas 9-0 today.  The Scots are now 1-2 on the season.

The Scots singles lost to the Tommies in all six matches. No.1 Laurel Hickey  (Chatham, N.J. / Chatham) battled against Jenna Zimmerman to lose 6-2, 6-3. And No.3 Lily Stein (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) played a tough 6-4, 6-2 match against Taylor McLeod.

The Scots closest doubles matche came from Lily Stein (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) and Megan O'Herin (Grand Rapids, Mich/Northview) who lost 8-3.

The Scots return to action at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Clarie on Sunday, March 5 in Eau Claire at 9:30 a.m.
