ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Macalester College women's tennis team took on St. Kate's in Tuesday evening MIAC competition. The Scots fell to the Wilcats, 8-1 in match play as their record moved to 3-10 overall and 0-6 in conference action. St. Catherine improved to 9-8 overall, 4-5 in the MIAC.

The Scots earned a win at No. 3 doubles when Lily Stein and Nina Brim defeated Obert and Rike, 8-5. Macalester will return to action on Saturday, Apr. 23 when they take on Carleton College at Hayden Courts. Action will begin at 12 p.m.
