ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Macalester College women's tennis team capitalized on strong singles play to earn a win over the University of St. Francis on Monday morning. The Scots move to 3-3 overall with the win.

Macalester won at the No. 1 through No. 5 singles positions to take down the Cougars in the second day of action in Orlando, Fla. The middle of the line-up has been hot for the Scots as Saniya Rana (Noida, Uttar Pradesh/ United World College), Lily Stein (Winnetka, Ill./ New Trier) and Jessica Ilc (Niles, Ill./ Maine East) also earned singles wins in Sunday action.

The Scots will return to action on Tuesday when they take on Colorado College at 5:30 p.m. (EST). The Tigers are 7-5 overall this seasos with a five-match winning streak.
